Rhyme & Reason is the name of our innovative new series, launched in 2024. Perfect for supporting learning in school or at home, three titles are currently available, with two more on their way.
Each book explores a particular area of science and explains it clearly, and appropriately for curious 7-to-12-year-olds. The main part of each book is a clever and memorable rhyme, and each page is beautifully illustrated.
Further information at the back of the book …
At the end of each book are some pages that provide more information. The text and images on these pages reiterate what the rhyme has explained, and expand on some key points.
This information has proved invaluable not only to young readers themselves, but also to parents and teachers who have been asked difficult questions by curious young readers.
The titles out so far are:
Rhyme & Reason: What is Water?
Rhyme & Reason: Why Do Things Fall Down?
Rhyme & Reason: How Do We See?
– in the coming months, look out for:
Rhyme & Reason: How Do Plants Grow?
Rhyme & Reason: Air Can Only Push, Not Pull.
